Summer is FINALLY coming, it felt like it would never get here!

One of my absolute favorite parts of summer is sitting on the deck in the evening with my husband and friends.  Thankfully some of our best friends are our neighbors…  so we get together every week and share some laughs over cocktails and snacks.  I always like to have pitchers of cocktails to serve, most often mojitos but I’ve got something new up my sleeve that I can’t wait to share.

peach cocktail with orange strawNow that the weather is getting hotter, I think serving something refreshingly frosty is the way to go! This Frozen Peach Champagne Cocktail takes just 5 minutes of prep and is gorgeous!  I start with frozen peach slices and add in Alizé Peach to really kick up the delicious peachy flavor and finally add in a little bit of champagne to make it refreshing!

Alizé Peach is an amazing  French vodka infused with the flavors of a fresh juicy summer peach.  I love it because it packs a big peachy punch without being overly sweet and syrupy and while it’s delicious on the rocks, it lends itself perfectly to so many cocktail recipes!  I have to admit, I was pretty excited that Alizé has added Peach to their collection!  (Spiked Peach Iced Tea is next on my list)!!  You can follow Alizé on Facebook or Instagram for more yummy cocktail ideas!

Speaking of peaches, I use prepackaged frozen peach slices but if you happen to have fresh peaches you can certainly peel and freeze your own.  To quickly and easily peel fresh peaches, just score a small X in skin of the peach and drop it into a pot of boiling water for about 15 seconds.  Plunge into ice water and the skins will slide right off.

Cheers and enjoy!
